Onze visie op duurzaamheid

Duurzaamheid wordt een steeds centraler onderdeel van hoe wij bij APG Europe opereren. Als verantwoordelijke organisatie werken wij eraan om duurzame werkwijzen te verankeren in onze bedrijfsvoering en waardeketen. Onze basis op het gebied van ESG-datamonitoring sinds 2023 en onze toewijding aan ethisch ondernemerschap stellen ons in staat om duidelijke strategische prioriteiten voor de komende jaren te bepalen, waarbij kwaliteit en branche-expertise de belangrijkste onderscheidende factoren van APG vormen. Deze vooruitgang is recent erkend met een EcoVadis Silver Medal, wat onze inzet en ontwikkeling onderstreept.

Duurzaamheidsstrategie

In 2025 heeft APG een single materiality assessment uitgevoerd als basis voor onze duurzaamheidsstrategie. Samen met trainingen en betrokkenheid van medewerkers vormt dit een belangrijke stap richting het afstemmen van onze bedrijfsvoering op internationale duurzaamheidsstandaarden.

In deze materialiteitsanalyse zijn duurzaamheidsthema’s beoordeeld op basis van hun mogelijke impact, positief of negatief, op de bedrijfsvoering van APG Europe en hun relevantie voor stakeholders. Het proces omvatte duurzaamheidstrainingen en drie gerichte workshops met het management van APG om marktontwikkelingen en ESG-data beter in kaart te brengen. Daarnaast hebben feedbacksessies met belangrijke leveranciers en een bedrijfsbrede enquête (met een responspercentage van 80%) geholpen om de resultaten te valideren.

Onze ambitie is om integer te handelen, innovatie te stimuleren en langetermijnwaarde te creëren voor mens, planeet en bedrijfsvoering.

Reporting and transparency

APG uses the GHG Protocol as methodology for emission accounting, answering to the demands of the European Union’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive for sustainability reporting.

What do we report?

APG Europe monitors and reports environmental data to Indutrade Group on a yearly basis.

Our environmental data includes water consumption, Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions in the categories Business travel by air, Upstream transportation, Purchased goods, and Waste, which are deemed material for us within the Indutrade business group. The social data includes, workforce diversity and inclusion metrics, employee health and safety statistics, training and development participation rates, employee turnover, and incidents related to ethics and compliance.

In addition, we report and monitor our progress in relevant key performance indicators defined by Indutrade Group and by our materiality assessment.

Indutrade Employee Code of Conduct

It sets forth the principles and guidelines that employees must follow to maintain a professional and ethical work environment. This document ensures that employees' actions and behaviors are in line with Indutrade's core values and ethical standards.

Indutrade Business Partners Code of Conduct

It outlines the expectations and standards that suppliers must adhere to when conduction business with Indutrade companies. This document ensures that suppliers operate in a manner that aligns with Indutrade's values and ethical standards.

Indutrade Group Annual Report

It reports what Indutrade has achieved in the fiscal year. APG Europe belongs to the Life Science business area of Indutrade Group.

Indutrade Group Sustainability Report

As part of the integrated Annual Report, this section showcases the progress of Indutrade's Sustainabillity targets and KPIs in line with the CSRD and the CSDDD8 regulations.
